The Assistant Minister has provided the list of the bona fide Bura farmers, but having gone through it, I have close to 100 people who do not have identification card numbers. I do not know whether these are aliens or they are Kenyans, because if they are Kenyans they should have identification card numbers. Further to that, when the Economic Stimulus Programme was being commissioned by the Minister for Agriculture late last year, the number of bona fide farmers was 1,600, as per the Government register. However, today, they have provided names of 2,245 farmers. Could the Assistant Minister explain whether there were new farmers who were resettled within this year and whether the people who do not have identification card numbers are, indeed, Kenyans?"
