"content": "will have problems; especially students and our churches. When the missionaries came to this country, they constructed so many churches and schools. When the missionaries returned to their countries, the running of those institutions has been left to us, as Kenyans. Harambees must continue to support those who are financially disadvantaged. The other issue is on people who undergo medical treatment. After undergoing surgical procedures at high cost hospitals, so many people are retained for failure to settle their bills. Through the Harambee spirit, many people have benefited from donations from well-wishers. If we ban Harambees, our people will die because they cannot get money to settle their medical bills. Harambees are important to the disadvantaged in the society. It should continue. Those who want to do away with Harambees should not even attend them. They should leave those who are willing to contribute to continue."
