    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I do not know what beef Hon. Gumbo has with this Bill. He is my very good friend. I do not know why he is opposing a very good Bill. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Members who contributed. This is a very important Bill that was sponsored by the Senate and it has come to us rightly so. If we pass this Bill, it will regulate a number of activities dealing with fundraising and this will replace the Public Collections Act, which was first introduced into this House during the colonial times. As you know, we passed the Constitution in 2010 and so, we need to put in place laws that reflect that new constitutional dispensation. We are proposing a raft of amendments with respect to this law to ensure that we align it with the Constitution. As you know, Members who contributed expressed the fact that some clauses of the Bill are obnoxious and unacceptable. So, we will be proposing amendments to this Bill. I beg to move."
