    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. First of all, I beg your indulgence. I have lost my voice but I will contribute effectively to this Witness Protection (Amendment) Bill. First, I thank the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs and the Leader of the Majority Party for bringing this important Bill to this House. It is to ensure that we standardise our criminal justice system to the international levels and at the same time align it to our current Constitution.
