"content": "know the consequences. Kenya has hosted very many refugees from the neighbouring countries, including Sudan and Somalia. So, we cannot purport that when things are going wrong, we should sit back and not interfere. Those were polices of the OAU and now we have the African Union (AU). When we had trouble here in Kenya, who came to our rescue? The Tanzanians, Ugandans, South Africans and Americans were here. So, if they decide to remain united, it is says here that all the parties must respect the outcome of the referendum. If they decide to separate, all the parties must respect that. We are not going outside their decision. We are encouraging what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is doing. This Motion is doing nothing else, but to tell the Sudanese that they have the backing of this House and they should continue with the referendum. With those few remarks, I support."
