    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, through you, I am representing the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in presentation of a paper on how women can participate in elections, free from violence and intimidation. As a special rapporteur on behalf of the Kenya Senate, I will seek to know whether we can have a resolution passed in Geneva on the situation in South Sudan because the IPU where you occupy a privileged position can intervene in the crisis in South Sudan. As we welcome them, I hope that one of our deliberations is how we can help the women and children who are the victims of violence of war to benefit from the strong IPU Parliament that will meet in Geneva. Thank you."
