    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I would like to join Sen. Haji in bringing out the issue. The Makonde people have been around for a long time, but they have not been granted citizenship documents.They have been suffering wherever they are. We also need to check how they have been living with the communities where they reside. Apart from raising the issue, we need to have a resolution of the House which will ask the Government to immediately give these people their rights since they have lived here for over 80 years. We have been told they are industrious people and we know how important the carvings are to the tourism industry. They can contribute to the economy of our country if they are granted citizenship."
