    "content": " On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. The issue of fraudulent alienation of public land in this country is not a secret. In this particular case of Machakos County, we may invite the Vice Chair and the House to take judicial notice of the fact that the current Governor of Machakos County has been quoted in public media inviting people, particularly from the Middle East, to come to Machakos and be given free public land, which is held in trust for the people of Kenya in general and the people of Machakos County in particular. I would want the Chair to direct the Committee, deputized by my distinguished brother, Sen. Khaniri, to summon the Chairman of the NLC, the Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, the Governor of Machakos County and put these facts to them, so that they can stop the reckless alienation of public land to persons who use it for speculation and not economic production."
