    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I would like to congratulate the Chairman of the Committee for this good amendment. According to the Constitution, Kenyans are entitled to treatment. It is paramount that members of our armed forces get proper treatment. Some members of our Defence Forces have been seriously injured in the past. Some have lost their lives while defending our nation, for example, during the recent attacks by Al-Shabaab . Compensation should be made in good time so that the families of the officers who lose their lives during attacks can move on with their lives well."
