    "content": "Thank you. Once upon a time, I was living in Zimmerman Estate. My neighbour took his child to a Catholic nursery school. The child was asked to name the five vowels and he could not. He was asked to count from one to ten and he could not. He was asked to name the first 10 letters of the Alphabet and he could not. The administrators of that centre told the father of the child that the child had failed. The father said, “Excuse me, how can this child fail? This is the beginning of education. Who was supposed to have taught them how to count from one to ten, if not you?” The business of trying to examine nursery school children should stop because nursery school is the beginning of a child’s education. Where were they supposed to have known how to count other than pronouncing that there is a father and a mother? I think this is a good provision that we have to protect. I support, but I will be coming with amendments."
