Deputy Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order 33(1), I would like to request the leave of the House for the purpose of deliberating on the dire hunger situation in the country due to the prolonged drought in many counties in this country. The situation is dire and, therefore, a matter of national importance. I would like to request the leave of the House so that this house is able to discuss the critical situation of shortage of water and food in many parts of this country. I request Hon.
