"content": "This letter is addressed to the Attorney-General. It urges him to make sure that the status quo is maintained. This is a copy of those orders which has been tabled before this House. Why can he not give an undertaking now that he knows there is a court order? Why can he not give an undertaking that the 248 members of the community together with their families will not be interfered in any way in this suit land and that he will not gazette this as a national park until the High Court in Nyeri hears and determines this matter? Why can he not do a simple civic duty like that to secure the community which might one day vote for him if he wants to become the President of this great nation?"
