It is also important to note that Hon. Washiali and Hon. Serut are Members of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives and they are also Members of the House Business Committee (HBC). As Members of the HBC, they might have contributed to the delay of this document. Being Members of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives, they were aware that the Committee was dealing with the issue of GMOs."
