    "content": "On 8th October 2012, the Attorney-General (AG) of the Republic of Kenya filed a case in the Supreme Court seeking an advisory opinion on the attainment of the two-thirds gender principle in line with Article 27(a) and Article 81(b) of the Constitution of Kenya. The AG sought to be advised on whether this principle was to be realised immediately or progressively in the absence of a clear mechanism provided for by legislation or any other written law."
