    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me this chance to also contribute to this important Bill. At the outset, I want to oppose. I want to tell Kenyans that this Bill is a public relations game that is being played. It has been brought to the House to show that Parliament is doing something about gender. I oppose this Bill because it is withdrawing all the gains that we have made under the new constitutional dispensation. Kenyans fought for the new Constitution. Women stand to gain a lot from the new Constitution. Today is a very sad day for women.
