Her answer was that if she is confronted with the issue, she will first determine whether it is a matter of choice or whether it is an inborn issue. If it is a matter of choice, the Constitution protects freedom of association with regard to the lifestyle one chooses, but in the same vein, marriages by persons not of the opposite sex are not allowed by the Constitution of Kenya, 2010."
