"content": "Like Hillary Clinton, Hon. Speaker. The United States of America (USA), a country that has had independence for very many years - 96 to 100 years - has never had a Bill to force people to vote for a woman. However, they are, for the first time, going to vote for a woman as the President. That is real democracy. It is a democracy that gives people the power to select people who are competitive and people who will represent them well. That is what I support. So, what we should be doing is going to the Constitution and deleting the part that says “elective positions”. We should say it is only those who are nominated on any appointed positions. Elective positions should not be forced because those are the choices of the people of Kenya. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
