"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.45(2)(b) to seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Finance, Commerce and Budget regarding the Equalization Fund established under Article 204 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. In the statement, the Chairperson should respond to the following:- (a) How much money has been allocated since the promulgation of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010? (b) How has the fund been utilized to date? (c) How much was allocated to the Fund this Financial Year; 2016/2017, and which counties benefited? (d) What projects have been identified for implementation of the Fund and how much has been allocated per county? (e) How were the projects identified?"
