    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for this opportunity to make my contribution to the Contempt of Court Bill, 2016. I will make my contribution not from a legal point of view, but from a layman’s point of view. I find it necessary to make my views on this Bill because the issue of contempt of court to many Kenyans is quite important. One of the aspects of this Bill, and what it is intended to achieve, is public confidence in the administration of justice as administered by the courts. This is very important and that is why I rise to support the Bill."
