Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security on the vetting of the nominee for appointment to the position of Chairperson of the Board of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 15th November 2016, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 6(1)(a) of the NACADA, Act, 2012 and Standing Order No.45, approves the appointment of Lt. Col. (Rtd) Julius Ayub Githiri as Chairperson of the Board of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse."
