    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I wish to second this very important Bill by my colleague Hon. Neto, which aims at repealing the Refugee Act of 2006, Cap. 173 of the laws of Kenya. First, allow me to thank my colleague, Hon. Neto for bringing this very important Bill. I also wish to thank the partners who helped us, particularly the RCK. Many of our Members did not know much about the operations of refugee camps. We visited Dadaab refugee camp and consulted widely. We supported each other. I remember us working together with the Human Rights Caucus when we were coming up with this Bill. So, it has been a very long process. It was inclusive, consultative and we believe, progressive. This progressive Bill will cater for the interests of the refugees and the host communities.
