(a) I am aware that the Coffee Farmers Co-operative Societies and Rural Savings and Credit Co-operatives have been experiencing challenges when dealing with some of their loanees who are unable to service loans. (b) My Ministry and the Treasury are working on modalities of implementing the Presidential directive. (c) The Government will continue to support the coffee sector so that all farmers can benefit in order to avoid future debt problems."
