    "content": "This ratification is a result of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change which was adapted during the 21st Session on the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change known as COP21 which was held in Paris, France, in December 2015. Our President was among the Heads of State and Governments who attended that conference. That Agreement is universal, inclusive and is applicable to all countries and will be implemented to reflect equity and the principle of common, but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities in the light of different countries’ national interests and circumstances. So, the implementation is anchored and adapted within the national interests and circumstances. This means that developed countries have to continue to take lead in mitigating climate change and support actions and initiatives taken by developing countries like Kenya."
