"content": "I support the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. As we legislate on the war against corruption and witness protection, there is an overlapping of agencies that is, agencies taking over functions of other agencies. You will even see this when we come to the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering(Amendment) Bill . I am happy the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs has bridged it. That function belongs to another institution, by law. I support the deletion. Maybe it was an oversight when we were preparing the Bill."
