Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 8 of the Bill be amended by inserting the words “with the leave of the court” immediately after the words \"the Director of Public Prosecutions\". Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, we are saying that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) must only prosecute a person with the leave of the court.
