Temporary Deputy Chairlady, mine is to give a word of solace and encouragement to my sister, the Bomet County Women Representative, and tell her that we can have two bodies which are competent. I understand where she comes from. She would like us to have a standard system of education for all the certificates that are of equal standing. I believe we can have KASNEB, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and other organisations, which examine and those certificates are of equal strengths. We can also have two bodies which will regulate the TIVET institutions and the universities and our academic standing will remain high. I think her point has been overtaken by events."
