Members, the suspension, however, will also affect the consideration by that Committee again with regard to the nominees to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), should they be forwarded during the recess period. This is in keeping with the House resolution of 1st December, 2016 which allowed the Speaker to forward forthwith names of nominees to the relevant Committees to conduct vetting exercises."
