Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade on the Vetting of Nominees for Appointment to the Commission for Revenue Allocation, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, December 20 2016 (Morning Sitting), and pursuant to the provisions of Article 215 of the Constitution and Section 9 of the Commission of Revenue Act, 2011, approves the appointment of the following persons as Members of the Commission of Revenue Allocation: (i) Prof. Edward Akong’o Oyugi; (ii) Mr. Peter Gachuba Njeru; (iii) Mr. Kishanto Suuji; (iv) Dr. Irene C.
