    "content": "We were not questioning the academic or professional qualifications of the two nominees. What we questioned was the integrity of the nomination process. We felt that for instance they were handpicked and no structures were used to nominate those two individuals. We approved Messrs. Patel and John Kioli. Mr. Patel was nominated by the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) which is an institution well known in this country. Mr. John Kioli was nominated by civil society organisations dealing with matters of climate change."
