As you work your way into attempting to amend, please remember that this is a sacrosanct rule. Finally, this debate today has reminded me of the wisdom of the great American President Thomas Jefferson, who taught Americans that rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God. The Members of the National Assembly repelled against an attempt to deny this law from going to the Committee before it came to Plenary the way we have achieved today.
