"content": "Dr. Eliud Wabukala Wamukekhe, as you get there pray to God. I told him that he is putting his life in a dangerous mission. He said he is putting his life because he values Kenya. He is a patriot. It reminds me of John 3:16 in the Bible which says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Hon. Speaker, Archbishop (Rtd.) Dr. Eliud Wabukala Wamukekhe, is putting his life on the line for the sake of Kenyans. To the people who are barons of corruption, we are watching. This time, he will be praying for them so that they repent when that time comes. We saw the President during the Governors Summit at State House. He said it: “I have done everything. What else do you expect me to do?” We salute the President because he has tried. I also thank the President because he has gone to the people of God. I have no doubt that Archbishop (Rtd.) Dr. Eliud Wabukala Wamukekhe will be the man of choice as far as the issue of corruption is concerned. As we move on, we are calling upon the secretariat; those demons at the Ethics and Anti- Corruption and Commission (EACC) should be vetted. You remember we brought an amendment here that these people have never been vetted. Why should we not vet them? If all the chairpersons have been coming and going, it is high time they worked as a team. In the Transformative Leadership Theory, the qualities attributed to teamwork are results oriented - Archbishop (Rtd.) Dr. Eliud Wabukala Wamukekhe has all those results. I tell Kenyans that we will go into prayers and we hope God gives Archbishop (Rtd.) Dr. Wabukala good health to fight corruption in this country. With those few remarks, I say “Amen” to Archbishop (Rtd.) Dr. Wabukala to do this job. Thank you, I support."
