    "content": "encourage more Kenyans to register as voters. You can see that the voter turnout has been really bad all over the country. You can see the chiefs are holding a lot of identity cards and moving with them across the villages so that these Kenyans can be reached. There are young people who applied for identity cards and they moved to the city or are in the university. Other than the individual sacrifice to serve their country, it is also through leadership and political parties and through the government mechanism such as the chiefs themselves to call upon Kenyans, through the media such as radio stations and newspapers, to pick their identity cards which they have and go to their nearest possible areas and register as voters. This is a very important Motion because we need to persuade our voters to rise up and love his country and elect the right leaders so that they can be served well. They need to vote with their conscience. Therefore, being an important Motion, it is coming at the right time when we have a few days before the end of the voter registration. The process which will happen after that will be verification. There are situations where you key in your ID card and three voters show up. In fact, Kenyans have complained that they are going to register, because they have never voted before and ---- Hon. Deputy Speaker, thank you. I did notice that my time was running out.
