    "content": "The amendment contained in Clause 4 seeks to amend the provisions of the term of office for the members of the Commission to require that any reappointment of the members appointed under Section 5 (1)(d) of the Act be subject to a favourable performance evaluation. Therefore, we are saying that days are gone when Parliament received some names then they were vetted by the Committee. We want these Kenyans to apply for the job. If you want to become a commissioner with the Privatisation Commission, you will apply and you must be recruited competitively. If your term is over there must be a serious performance appraisal; you will not just be reappointed. We need to bring the private sector investments to our country."
