(a) I am aware that the Nakuru-Nyahururu Road (B5) is in need of repair and as such, my Ministry, through the Kenya National Highways Authority, has already awarded a maintenance contract and the contractor is expected to be on site in January, 2011. (b) I am aware of the damage caused by the poor drainage system from the Menengai Hill Crater. The issue has been addressed under the scope of works under the contract awarded by the Kenya National Highways Authority."
