    "content": "This Bill is very important because half of my constituency on the lower side is near the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands like Tharaka, which is a pastoralist area. We need the board formed so that it will sort out those issues. We need the Government to establish an abattoir in Isiolo or Meru. At the moment, people transport livestock all the way from the Northern Frontier to Athi- River in Nairobi. By the time the animals get there, they are emaciated. The abattoir should be established in Isiolo because there is an airport there. It should have been there in the first place, but it has not been established. Hopefully, with the board in place, it will be established."
