Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 15 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (8)− “(9) The Secretary appointed under subsection (2) shall be a State officer.” This amendment is in line with the existing Public Service Act which provides that the secretary to the commission shall be a State officer. So, it is quite in order."
