Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by inserting a new clause 21 immediately after clause 18 as follows- THAT, Section 54 of the principal Act is amended by inserting a new subsection immediately after subsection (1) as follows- (1A) Notwithstanding any provisions in any other written law, all cases of recovery of the proceeds of crime or benefits accruing from any predicate offence in money laundering, shall be handled by the Agency, in accordance with this Act."
