    "content": "Having said that, we are doing all these things to spur the economy of our country. Something is terribly wrong with the drivers of our economy today. On paper, locally and even within the International Monetary Fund (IMF), it is agreed that the Kenyan economy is growing. But, we have this paradox or contradiction of a growing economy which instead of churning out jobs is churning out joblessness. There is so much hopelessness in our country today. The economy, on paper, is growing at around 5 per cent, which is very commendable. Where is the disconnect? Our growing economy, somehow, cannot create jobs. Instead, it is leading to joblessness. As Hon. Jakoyo Midiwo has just said, we are all representatives of the people.
