The Chairperson of the Board or any other member has no leeway for tendering resignation in the current Act. Therefore, we propose that should the Chairperson or any other Board Member resign, the appointing authority – depending on who the appointing authority is for the specific category of the person who has resigned – is given a chance to replace the said person. Those are the few Acts of Parliament on which we have proposed amendments. I hope Members will make a contribution on them.
