Ong’era on the Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) kits allegedly stolen from Mandera by the Al Shabaab terror group. This has been featuring for the last few days and the Senator is not here. There is a precedent in this House where the Speaker has ruled that when a Statement is of great public interest, such as this, it can be answered for the purpose of the House. I want to seek your indulgence and guidance so that this Statement can be given, if it is available, even though Sen. Ong’era is not here."
