    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. New Clause 9A seeks to amend Section 25 of the principal Act by deleting the word “February” and substituting it with the word “January”. The main import of this amendment is to increase the period of consideration of the Budget Policy Statement (BPS). It is also to ensure that the resolutions of the House on the BPS form the basis of the annual estimates for the succeeding financial year."
