    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me this opportunity to comment on the appointment of Dr. Jane Wangui Kiringai. The position of Chairperson for Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) affects us. Anyone who is appointed should understand the development of this country so that, when funds are allocated, they are properly utilized. Records must be there to show how funds have been allocated and spent. According to the Committee’s Report, Dr. Jane Wangui is the relevant candidate for that job. She has the required qualifications for that position. She has worked for international bodies. I think she will do well in that position. Revenue allocation to the counties is necessary because there are areas where people may need money for development. She will need to devote more of her time to make sure that work is done in the counties. In this respect, I support her appointment. I want to thank the Committee for doing a good job. They have brought a Report that goes together with the good interview they conducted."
