Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT Clause 12 of the Bill be amended by— (a) deleting the word “Part” and substituting therefor the word “Act”; and (b) renumbering the existing provision as Sub-clause (1) and inserting the following new Sub-clause immediately after the proposed new Sub-clause (1) — “(2) A person who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding one million shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to both.”"
