Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the First Supplementary Estimates for the Financial Year 2016/2017, laid on the Table of the House today Thursday, 23rd February 2017 and in accordance with the provisions of Article 223 of the Constitution, approves the overall reduction of Kshs228,914,000,535 for the total Budget for the year ending on 30th June 2017 in respect of the various Votes as indicated in the Schedule."
