"content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I have withdrawn the name Sen. Mutula Kilonzo Snr. and replaced it with Sen. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. I am afraid Sen. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. might be misleading the House. This is because Article 179 (7) is very clear. It states that:- “if a vacancy arises in the office of the county governor, the members of the county executive committee appointed under clause(2)(b) cease to hold office.” They have ceased to hold office as far as this is concerned. If Gov. Samuel Wamathai wishes to continue with the same members, he is free to re-nominate them in accordance with Article 179(2)(b)---"
