Recently, the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Environment threatened to ban the use of plastic bags in Kenya when it is a much more useful approach to go with reducing, reusing and recycling. That will create more jobs of young people who can be taxed rather than shutting down the few existing factory jobs in the plastic sector and the follow up jobs."
