(3) State what the national Government is doing to resolve the conflict arising out of the need for pasture and grazing land, especially in light of the adverse effects of drought affecting pastoralists. (4) He should explain if the national Government has any plans to compensate the affected pastoralists, considering that livestock is the only source of income and livelihood. (5) Explain what the national Government is doing to compensate livestock farmers and resolve conflicts in many parts of Kenya, especially in Samburu, Isiolo, Baringo and West Pokot Counties, considering that many animals have died and continue to die as a result of the drought currently affecting the country."
