    "content": "The other thing I am very hopeful about is the issue of sanitary pads. The money was always in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, but its impact was not felt. It is now clear that it has been moved to the National Affirmative Action Fund and it will be a direct benefit to girls in schools, especially in rural schools which have a minimal amount of money. Their parents cannot afford to take them to boarding secondary schools. Many girls in day schools miss school because of lack of sanitary pads. I am very glad that this problem is being addressed. The Budget has taken care of that expenditure and so, our girls will not suffer anymore."
