    "content": "We are all leaders and it does not matter which part of the political divide we support. We are Kenyans and we have a duty to protect the lives and properties of our citizens. I think no party should be encouraged to be violent or destroy the peace that we enjoy. I would like to encourage my colleagues, the pastoralists, who have been facing very difficult times in their areas like cattle rustling, maiming, killings and others. We can never achieve anything if we continue with that trend. Another issue is killing of cattle and destroying the livelihoods of people. In fact, in the last two weeks, more than 2,000 head of cattle have been killed in Laikipia. People have committed suicide because of huge losses.
