Still on the path of being an industrialized country, the foundation has been laid very well by the Uhuru-led Government and, as a result, this country has, for the first time, been ranked the third most improved country with regard to ease of doing business for the last two consecutive years. Through the expanded economy that has improved infrastructure, 1,950 kilometres of roads have been tarmacked and 7,000 kilometres - as said by His Excellency the President in his Speech - are in the stages of construction. That is commendable and will lay that foundation for an industrialized nation."
